Back on Track // Life Update

19:22:00

So... It's been a while.

I haven't posted in three weeks, and I haven't blogged consistently in months. The truth is, I've been tired.

I'm in the last year of the IB MYP programme, which I suppose equates to my final GCSE year. It is stressful. I've had more than enough on my plate with schoolwork, and it has honestly been overwhelming.

Every minute not spent on classwork has been spent with my friends to keep me sane. Don't misunderstand me, I'm doing pretty well. I'm very happy, and I have a lot of exciting stuff happening ahead of me to look forward to.

I thought this was fitting, and too funny to pass up.
What I'm trying to say is that I haven't been prioritising my blog. I haven't had anything to write about, because although I love it, most of my recent writing has been to personal to put online.

I want to keep blogging here, it really makes me happy. So "I'm back, Bitches" (sorry, I've also been watching a bit too much Pretty Little Liars these past weeks).

No but in all seriousness, I will be blogging a lot more frequently from now on. I'll definitely have at least one post up each week, hopefully more. Eventually I'd also like to update my blog's layout, as if we're being honest, it looks very unprofessional and boring.

Also, I'm setting a goal for my number of followers on bloglovin. I currently have 74, and would like to reach 100 before the 1st of June. I know this is a stretch, but goals give me something to work towards, so hopefully it'll help keep me motivated!

Well, this post is mostly just to let you all know that I'm back, and just something to keep me accountable.

I hope you've all had a lovely easter (I'm so jealous that the english easter holidays have just started, I've been off a week already and go back on Tuesday).

The Time I (Almost) Met Halsey

21:36:00

Last Sunday, I saw Halsey live. It was one of the best nights of my life.

She was absolutely amazing. I'm not the type of person who goes to concerts if I don't absolutely love the band/artist, and I definitely love Halsey. Every single song.

By some miracle, I ended up second row.

Her voice filled the tiny concert hall, and everyone sang along loudly. I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven. She made me feel so comfortable, so happy, and I truly loved every second of it.

I only discovered Halsey when Badlands was released, but for the past few months I've been addicted to Room 93 too. When she announced that she was coming to Norway, I was desperate to go. It was so totally worth it.

Flashing lights, loud singing and happiness were three main elements of that night. She interacted so incredibly with us, and I swear she looked directly at me at one point.

She brought Lido, her boyfriend, on stage during Drive, and it was such a beautiful sequence.

After the concert, we hit the merch booth. I really regret not getting a t-shirt from the All Time Low concert, so I got one this time. I love it. I also bought a poster, which is going to hang on my wall as soon as we move.

We waited outside for a long while before Halsey actually came out. She walked right past me, only a few centimetres away. She told us she was going to grab a shower and then come out to see us, but over an hour passed and my mum was getting tired of waiting in the car. It was just after midnight when my mum dragged us home, and I really didn't want to leave. When I discovered on instagram that she'd come out to meet fans only 15min after we left, I felt quite heartbroken (I'm still not quite over that), but it was a brilliant night anyway.

What's the best concerrt you've ever been to? If you haven't been to one, who's someone you'd love to see live?
